Reminder - travel notice - fans travelling by rail to Swansea

Network Rail and First Great Western advised us last month of significant changes to train services and journey times over the Easter period, including our matchday at Swansea on Saturday.

Reminder - travel notice - fans travelling by rail to Swansea

We kick-off at the Liberty Stadium at 3pm.

Due to major improvement works at Reading Station and the surrounding area, supporters are advised that there will be significant changes and alterations to train services through Reading station including trains to South Wales.

This will impact supporters travelling to the game by train on Saturday.

Services from London to Swansea will still depart from London Paddington but will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes longer than the usual journey.

Supporters are requested to please check their journeys before departure to avoid disruption at www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/reading

The ongoing work is part of the wider Reading Remodelling project, which once complete in 2015, will help reduce delays, increase the number of platforms at Reading Station, and improve the punctuality of train services.

Please check your journey before travelling to the game - visit www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/reading or contact First Great Western's customer services team on 08457 000 125 for more information.
