After a promising start to his career at the Lane and 15 appearances, including 13 starts, the midfielder was struck down by the problem in December.
Boss Glenn Hoddle revealed: "Jamie will come back from a break next week, will be off the crutches and start his rehabilitiation.
"He was scanned last week and everything was on course. He's worked very hard and will start some bicycle work and jogging when he comes back. Hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery."
Jamie Redknapp is on track to resume light training after his broken toe next week.
