Ready for Teddy

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Jurgen Klinsmann describes the chance to once again play at White Hart Lane in front of the Spurs fans as 'something special'.

He is likely to start the game alongside his old strike partner Teddy Sheringham and is excited at the prospect of rolling back the years.

"I am happy to get the opportunity to kick the ball around on that very special pitch," said Jurgen. "I hope I don't look too bad!

"To be back in that stadium for a little while will be something special. Playing in front of Spurs supporters will be something special as well because I had a wonderful time both times.

"The second spell was a bit more difficult, but problems were solved at the end of the day so it was another positive experience.

"I have a lot of wonderful memories that are connected with that stadium - it is a special ground."

Jurgen can only see good things ahead for Spurs under the management of Glenn.

"Seeing the development of the club over the years has been great. Now having Glenn Hoddle, a personality with tremendous experience who has played here, is another step. He has put together a side that is playing good stuff and it is great and exciting to see.

"I follow all the results but don't get to see them much on TV. I'm really pleased to see them on top with a few other teams, but it's a long season and I hope they reach the goals that they set themselves. I hear it is the UEFA Cup from most people and I think that would be great.

"It will be a consistent development over the forthcoming years."
