Rail update

Posted on 15 November 2000  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

WAGN Railway have advised us that their planned engineering work that would have affected fans travelling to our Premiership fixture at the Lane against Leicester City on Saturday week, November 25, has been postponed.

As a result the normal Saturday service will operate.

Meanwhile for Sunday's home fixture against Liverpool all trains will run via Seven Sisters and White Hart Lane but Northumberland Park will NOT be served by any trains.

Railtrack have also advised WAGN Railway that all services are subject to some delay at present while Railtrack have various speed restrictions in force.

We have been asked to notify fans travelling from Southend to the Liverpool game of the following information:

On Sunday 19th Nov, rail services from the Southend area into London will be severely restricted due to engineering work in the Bow area. Both services on c2c and Great Eastern trains will be reduced. Fans are therefore requested to check National Rail Enquiries (08457 48 49 50) before travelling.
