Rafael van der Vaart is aiming high as he prepares to meet Manchester United for the first time on Saturday.

We travel to Old Trafford for a 5.30pm kick-off in the Barclays Premier League.

The flying Dutchman - four goals in his last four starts - didn't meet Sir Alex Ferguson's men during his time at Ajax, Hamburg or Real Madrid.

We're two points adrift of United and Rafa says we travel to Manchester with confidence.

"It's a great match, my first time at Old Trafford and I hope we can win there," said Rafa.

"We have a good team and we always have a chance to win. We're playing a great team, but we're not scared. If we play our game we have a good chance to win there.

"Every game in the Premier League is a big game.

"Okay, maybe it's something special to play at Old Trafford against one of the best teams in the league, but that also makes it even bigger if we can go and win there.

"We can go there with a lot of confidence and we can win."
