In another amazing twist, Dimitar Berbatov coolly curled home a free-kick before Stalteri's late dash saw him tap home the winner as Robert Green parried JD's shot in injury time.
"It was unbelieveable, especially the last few minutes," recalled Radek, on the bench at the time. "I remember Adel Taarabt going into the game as a substitute, being fouled and Berba scoring the free-kick for 3-3 and then in the last minute, West Ham had a free-kick, we broke away and Paul Stalteri ran all the way to score the winner.
"All the players were laughing with Paul afterwards, we watched the video back and you could see Paul sprinting forward, it was funny for all of us.
"It was such an important win at the time and this game is the same, but for different reasons. We haven't started well and we need the points.
"I remember my first season here was the last game of the season when we lost at West Ham and finished fifth and last season was tough as well. We will try to win this game but it will be difficult."
Radek Cerny raises a smile when he recalls the sight of Paul Stalteri bursting forward to win last season's 4-3 thriller against West Ham at Upton Park.Trailing 2-0 at the break, a penalty from Jermain Defoe and Teemu Tainio's smart finish looked to have set us up for victory only for the Hammers to take the lead again with a few minutes left.
