Mido joined a group of young children at White Hart Lane this week as a part of the Club's ongoing work with the Prince's Trust. The year 10 pupils from Park View Academy near White Hart Lane grilled the striker on his dreams as a youngster, being a professional footballer and how he stays focused and healthy, before going into the indoor pitch at White Hart Lane for a training session.

This is the second year of the Club’s partnership with the Prince’s Trust and the work is going from strength to strength.

"I have a young son so I love working with kids as I know how much fun they can be and how much energy they have," said Mido. "It was great to see the effort that had gone into the preparation from all of the kids though, they had done their research and the questions were of a really high quality, they didn’t give me an easy time!"

Almost 11,000 young people have now benefited from the long-term support of the FA Premier League, PFA and Football Foundation. The initiative also helps unemployed 16- to-25-year-olds with their motivation and confidence so they can find work or go back into education.

Last year, four in five young people completing The Prince’s Trust Football Initiative who were previously unemployed went onto education, employment or further training. A further 87% said that they had improved their motivation and confidence.
