Wilson Palacios is on the plane to South Africa while Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Sebastien Bassong and Giovani dos Santos have all been named in provisional World Cup squads.
It was no surprise to see Wilson named in the Honduran squad for South Africa as coach Reinaldo Rueda revealed his squad of 23 for the tournament, plus seven players on stand-by.
A key player here at Spurs, Wilson has been capped 63 times and now faces friendlies against Belarus, Azerbaijan and Romania before kicking-off against Chile in South Africa. Honduras also have a huge game against Spain and Switzerland in Group H.
Wilson started 38 matches including 29 in the Premier League in a total of 43 appearances in all competitions as we finished fourth in the Premier League.
Defenders Benoit and Sebastien are part of Cameroon's 30-man provisional squad.
That means a recall for Sebastien after he was left out of the Indomitable Lions' squad for the African Nations Cup earlier in the year.
Both were in fine form for us last season. Full-back Benoit started 29 matches in the league and made 34 appearances in all competitions while centre-back Sebastien made 35 starts in all competitions including 25 in the league.
Cameroon have four friendlies - Georgia, Slovakia, Portugal, Serbia - before kicking-off their World Cup campaign against Japan in Manguang on June 14. They also face Denmark and Holland in Group E.
Gio, currently on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray, is in Mexico's provisional 26-man squad.
Mexico have friendlies against Angola, Chile, England, Holland and Italy before the honour of opening the World Cup against host South Africa on June 11. They also face France and Uruquay in Group A.
