Gus Poyet says the lads are determined to bounce back from Saturday's FA Cup draw against Reading and book a place at Old Trafford by winning the replay.

Few could argue that we had the chances to put the third round encounter at the Lane beyond reach of the Royals but Steve Coppell's dogged side battled back for 2-2 and pushed on for the win when we went down to 10 men.

Monday's draw for the fourth round will no doubt add that little extra spice to the replay at the Madejski Stadium next Tuesday (January 15, 8pm) as the winners travel to Manchester United.

Reflecting on Saturday's draw and looking ahead to the replay, Gus said: "Saturday was disappointing because we had the chances, especially in the first half. It was the type of game where we could have gone two or three up and closed the game out.

"We'll try to put that right next week. We can go and win that game, definitely. I think it will be a different type of game because they will play differently, I think they will play a little higher up the pitch and that will give us a little more space.

"It's a good game to play, another match for us and we have a lot, but the players are happy about playing the games.

"As a player, I loved playing every week. That's what it's all about and when it's the FA Cup, it's great and we all know where we are going if we manage to go through."
