The mascots will appear in the Spurs Megastore between 10am-11am ahead of the 12.45pm kick off, and also take a walk around the pitch before the game and during the half-time interval to meet fans and pose for photographs.
There will be bucket collections for fans to donate to BBC Children in Need, which supports over 2,600 projects across the UK, all of which work to help change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people, including many projects that help children through sport and football. The ‘beautiful game’ can provide kids with fun, friendship, fitness and a sense of belonging to a team.
Ahead of one of the biggest matches of the season, we will be using our online and social media channels to help raise awareness of the fantastic work undertaken by the charity every year. There are also a host of activities planned for the day of the game, that are designed to generate support for Children in Need and provide fans with the opportunity to donate to the charity should they wish.
If you cannot make it to Saturday’s game, you can donate £5 to BBC Children in Need by texting the word FOOTBALL to 70705. It’s that simple!
Text messages will cost £5 plus your standard network charge and every penny of your £5 will go to BBC Children in Need, registered charity number 802052 (England and Wales) SC039557 (Scotland).
