Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

I firmly believe that we have turned a couple of important corners in our last two games. We finally earned our reward for our excellent team spirit following our fightback at Charlton in the last round of the FA Cup while last Saturday's win at Manchester City has laid that particular awayday ghost.
We looked dead and buried at two goals down at The Valley in one of the most exciting FA cup matches this season. Often in the past, Spurs sides have been eliminated in similar circumstances, particularly bearing in mind Charlton's excellent home record in the Premiership, but we showed great strength of character and resolve.
To read the newspapers, you would believe that White Hart Lane was like a morgue and we were in the depths of despair! Yet the opposite has been the case.
The atmosphere during training at Spurs Lodge has continued to be excellent and our ongoing team spirit is as buoyant and positive as ever.
We have coped with a frustrating injury list to go eight games unbeaten - and all this at a time when we have been forced to play with only one recognised forward, Sergei Rebrov.
True the 0-0 draws prompted some negative observations in the media and I agree that we would all like to be doing a little better. But you have to cut your cloth according to what is available to you and all credit to our players for continually striving to do something about it.
We have not been found wanting in games and have created chances. But we have lacked that final touch that turns draws into victories.
And don't forget that good defending is also a skill. When you are not scoring that obviously puts added pressure on your defence and we have stood up well to that particular test.
Now there is better news of our injured group with Les Ferdinand and Steffen Iversen not too far away and Chris Armstrong inching ever closer to full fitness. Unfortunately, Stephen Carr, Mauricio Taricco and Ben Thatcher still have some way to go but, touch wood, we are at least heading in the right direction.
Hopefully, we will get some of them back in time for a strong conclusion to the season - starting with today's vital FA Cup tie with Stockport County.
Although it is a fact that this club has done well in years that have ended in one, I do not believe in omens. If it happens and we are successful then that will be down to the players and they will deserve the credit.
Stockport will make it difficult for us this afternoon and we have a tough 90 minutes ahead of us. However, we have the players who are willing to roll up their sleeves in these situations while Sergei Rebrov is now proving that, if we set up the chances for him, he will put them away.
In moving to English football from the Ukraine, Sergei has faced the difficulties of having to settle in quickly but has stuck to the task and shown great character.
It's going to be an interesting game and an important one with a place in the sixth round awaiting the winners. Get behind the team and we'll do it together.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
