Alex Pritchard popped up with the winner once again as a Spurs XI defeated a Reading side 2-1 in a friendly at Spurs Lodge on Tuesday.
Dean Parrett, who recently joined Charlton on loan, opened the scoring after just five minutes with a smart finish inside the area following a Ryan Fredericks throw.
Then Pritchard capitalised as the visitors failed to clear their lines from a Parrett corner to double our lead on 15 minutes.
The midfielder also scored the only goal of the game in last week’s friendly with Dagenham & Redbridge and also hit a last minute winner against Watford in a recent Premier Academy League fixture.
But it turned out to be a mixed afternoon for the 17-year-old, who left the field on a stretcher after going down under a challenge around the hour mark.
And Reading got themselves back in the game with 20 minutes remaining Mathieu Manset when found the net at a corner, but it wasn’t enough.
