Spurs U17s 1-1 Charlton Athletic

Owen Price had mixed emotions after Saturday's dramatic draw against Charlton.

The striker opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a cracker into the top corner from an acute angle but after Charlton levelled with a goal of similar quality, Price was thwarted by the visitors' keeper from the penalty spot in injury time.

In-between, Iyad Ahmed, who won the late penalty, flashed our best chance across the face of goal.

"It was an even game although overall I felt we had the better chances," said coach Jimmy Neighbour. "A draw was perhaps a fair result but we were unfortunate not to win the game."

Spurs U17s: Eyre, Watson, Francis, McKenna (Lee, 74), Ifil, Dobson, Ahmed, Hicks, Hodges (Barcham, 65), Price, Jenkins (Heller, 80). Unused subs: Forecast, Welch.
