Jermain Defoe is relishing the pressure of our fight for fourth place in the Premier League.
We're sitting in that coveted fourth spot as we enter the penultimate weekend of the season.
Villa are level on points in fifth having played a game more, City are a point behind in sixth and Liverpool are another point back in seventh, again having played a game more.
It's another fascinating weekend as we play host to Bolton on Saturday, City take on Villa and Liverpool then face Chelsea at Anfield on Sunday.
"There is a lot of pressure but it's the pressure you want as a footballer," said JD, set for his 400th career appearance on Saturday. "It's always great to have something to play for at this stage of the season.
"You go into games knowing you have to perform, simple as that. It's a case of winning the game, getting the three points and then moving onto the next game.
"We have to keep going. We've three games left, all games we can win and the lads can't wait. We all look sharp in training."
JD is well aware of the task in hand against Bolton - a team we've had to scrap to draw with twice on our travels this season.
It ended 2-2 in the Premier League and 1-1 in the FA Cup at the Reebok - we followed up with an impressive 4-0 replay win at the Lane.
"It will be a difficult game, we all know that," added the 24-goal striker. "It's probably more difficult at their place because of the way they play, their style, they make it difficult for you, make it scrappy.
"But we're at home, we move the ball around quickly, create chances, score goals and I'm confident we can pick up the points."
