Erik Edman is looking forward to a Swedish reunion when we travel to Southampton on Saturday.
The Swedish international's compatriots Mikael Nilsson, Andreas Jakobsson (pictured right), Andreas Svensson and Michael Svensson are all with the St Mary's club.
It hasn't been the best time for the quartet though. As Saints battle against the drop, Jakobsson is the only regular in the side with Andreas Svensson and Nilsson not featuring in the Premier League since January and Michael Svensson yet to play this term because of injury.
"I keep in touch with them all," said Erik. "I know Jakobsson is playing at the moment because he's come in for our loan player, Calum Davenport.
"The other two are on the bench or not even in the squad, so they are having a tough time and Michael Svensson is injured.
"I've played with Jakobsson at Helsingborgs and he's a great player, one of my favourite players to play alongside. He's always calm, reads the game really well and is great with the ball."
You needn't even ask Erik if he expects an even tougher game because Southampton are fighting for survival.
"It doesn't matter what team we play in this league, it's a hard game," he added. "That is the one big difference for me playing here after playing in Holland, every game is really tough. Hopefully we'll have a good day."
