Chris Hughton has few doubts that Stuart Pearce will make an impact in his new role as manager of Manchester City.
The legendary former Coventry, Forest, West Ham, City and England defender took over the reins recently from Kevin Keegan and is in charge until the end of the season.
His second stint as manager - he was in charge of Forest for a while in 1996-97 - begins at the Lane on Saturday.
Coach Chris said: "If he's able to pass to the team some of his qualities and enthusiasm then he'll certainly improve an already good City team.
"I've already heard him say he'll have no fear in bringing young players in, providing they're good enough.
"I'm sure the fact it's his first game will lift City as well. From what I've heard the players have a lot of respect for him and they will want to do well for not just the club and their position, but for him as well."
