First team coach Chris Hughton looks ahead to the FA Cup 4th round replay against Manchester City at the Lane...
WE HAVE PLAYED Manchester City three times already this season and you try to use that your own benefit. Of course, we know their players and have got to know them and, possibly, the tactics they will employ on the night. It is only to a degree though, the greater degree is on the night.
It is a cup tie, are they going to come to Tottenham and really go for it because it is a cup tie? Or are they going to play a little bit cagey?
I don't see the latter as their style because they are the sort of side that plays free-flowing football and are certainly a good attacking side. It is very much on the night.
Following the draw at the City of Manchester Stadium we are now considered favourites for the game and rightly so. We are the home side, when we went there they were favourites because they were the home side.
They have just come off a difficult game at Arsenal where they employed different tactics, but teams tend to going there or Manchester United.
We will be favourites, but we have got to go out and prove that now. It is a wonderful incentive going to Manchester United and we have a good opportunity to progress.
