Chris Hughton describes Coventry City as a passing side in the image of their manager Gary McAllister.
The Scot left City for a two-year trophy-laden spell at Liverpool before returning to Highfield Road as manager at the beginning of last season. Chris has seen them play recently and was impressed with what he saw.
"I last saw Coventry play about three weeks ago and they are very much a passing side," he reported. "I think that stems from the manager and the way he wants to play.
"On the occasions that I saw they played a diamond shape in midfield and a flat back four. They obviously haven't had the best of fortunes in the last season and a half and had quite a difficult period last season.
"They have made a lot of changes as a club and have lost a few influential players but, on their day, they are still a very good outfit.
"If I look at that division now there isn't a poor team in it. It will no doubt be a very difficult game."
