Chris Hughton hopes we turn around both our form in London derbies and our recent home record against Charlton to get back to winning ways on Saturday.
Last weekend's loss at Fulham made it just one win in our last 17 derbies while we've yet to beat Charlton at home in the Premiership - our record is three draws and two defeats.
"They've played well at the Lane but it's about us," insisted coach Chris. "The fact is we're at home and it's a game we need to win.
"There are enough difficult away games and although we've enjoyed some good away wins, it's the home form that concerns you more. This is a game we need to win."
Chris said there was a real sense of disappointment after the defeat at Fulham.
"Fulham wasn't the best of days for us," he added. "It was an opportunity to put things right after a couple of league defeats and after the win at Bolton in midweek, a fabulous win for us, we were all hoping we'd take some of that form into Fulham but it didn't happen for us.
"There is no doubt there is more of an edge in the derbies. The fans want to win that little more and they are always more difficult games but that is no reason for our record against the London sides."
