Alex Inglethorpe has given praise to his players after the Under-18s clinched their league title at The Lane.
With a 2-1 victory over Watford, our Academy side finished top of their group to advance to the FA Premier Academy League Finals.
Their run to this stage has seen just two defeats all season, and coach Alex believes it has been a squad effort.
"It's a credit to the players who have worked so hard in training and have taken that attitude into the games," he said.
"It's great that we've won our group title, and we've done that despite a couple of key players going out on loan.
"We've had a number of Under-16s make the step up in recent weeks, and everyone in the squad has played their part."
The lads now take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in a one-off semi-final for the right to face either Arsenal or Manchester City in a grand finale - possibly at White Hart Lane.
"The big incentive is to now go on and test ourselves against the three other best teams in the country, and keep giving the lads the opportunity to perform on the big stage," added Alex.
