Fredi Kanoute and David Pleat heaped praise on Robbie Keane after the Irish star buried the injury time penalty that completed our comeback against Arsenal.
The Gunners led 2-0 at the break but Jamie Redknapp's 25-yarder and Robbie's spot kick ensured a 2-2 final scoreline.
It seemed an eternity between Robbie being awarded the penalty after a bust-up with Arsenal keeper Jen Lehmann and actually taking it but he held his nerve to send the home fans into raptures.
"I think he was ready for it," said his strike partner Fredi. "I say that because all week he was hitting penalties. He took his responsibility and took it well. It was in the last minute. Strikers need big shoulders and he did it."
Acting boss David added: "It was a wonderful penalty from Robbie Keane, absolutely wonderful. It came at the perfect time and good luck to him, he kept a cool head. He made the day."
