Toby Alderweireld says they have 'all the qualities'.
Harry Kane describes them as 'incredible' and after another midfield masterclass in the 1-0 win against Middlesbrough, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama are certainly playing like a pair of 'Mr Incredibles', helping us stretch our current unbeaten run to nine matches as we sit second in the Premier League.
The pair are currently on their longest run of matches of starting together - Middlesbrough was the fifth on the trot - in that key central midfield battleground.
We've won three and drawn two of those matches and conceded just two goals.
It's no wonder centre-back Toby Alderweireld says the pair's work 'make our life much easier!'.
"They are both playing fantastic football and having wonderful seasons. They are strong, good on the ball, they know tactically where they have to go, when they have to clear or keep it.
"They have all the qualities, not one or two things but the lot, so that makes it difficult for opponents.
"They help us a lot. If teams go through them we are there and if they get through us, Hugo is there! That’s a good thing."

"All the team played well (against Middlesbrough) but it’s true that they are showing good commitment and playing well and they understand (the position) perfectly. It’s important to dominate that area because it’s an area you build the game. We have two strong players plus Harry Winks, Eric Dier as well - all the team deserve praise."
"They are incredible and they’ve been fantastic this season. They are so powerful, so strong and good on the ball as well, so when the ball drops to them they are able to get out of situations or pass forward and start attacks as well.
"They did it so well, they know the balance because they don’t want to drop too deep and they know how to sweep in front (of the defence) and win second balls as well. They win the ball, start counter-attacks and get the ball rolling. They are very important players for us."
