Arsenal U19s 0-0 Spurs

Pat Holland was delighted with this point against table-topping Arsenal and cited that his side was made up entirely of Under-18 players - positive signs with the FA Youth Cup looming.

Both sides had chances in Saturday's encounter with Rob Burch saving well early on and in-form Jamie Slabber hitting the woodwork with a shot on the turn in the second half.

"That was the best game we've played in this season in terms of the quality of football from both sides," said boss Pat.

"Our side was made up totally of Under-18 players as we continue our build up to the Youth Cup and if they can handle a side of Arsenal's quality and come out with a draw the signs have to be positive."

The lads kick-off their FA Youth Cup campaign with a trip to Walsall on Tuesday week, December 4.

Spurs U19s: Burch, Kelly, Herron, Bowditch, Henry, O'Donoghue, Barnard, Marney, Sutton, Slabber, Galbraith. Unused subs: Hughes., Jalal, Lee, Vedeux.
