Emmanuel Adebayor was more interested in the three points than any personal glory after his debut goal at Wolves.
The striker on loan from City made his mark straight away on Saturday, scoring the key opening goal in the 67th minute as we ran out 2-0 winners at Molineux.
Jermain Defoe added the second goal with 10 minutes remaining to secure the points.
"It's always good to have a chance to score on your debut, especially in a tough away match like this and I'm delighted," said Emmanuel.
"To score my first goal is always good for the confidence but I'm happier to take the three points, never mind my goal.
"It's a good win because we didn't give them any chances and you can't say 'okay, they deserved a draw'.
"I think we showed how good the team is, we played good football, showed great technical ability and hopefully will be more to come.
"It's important now to keep focused, keep going and we look forward to an important game on Thursday and then Liverpool on Sunday."
