Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

David Pleat praised the lads professionalism after last night's resounding Carling Cup win at Coventry City.

Goals from Fredi Kanoute, Robbie Keane and Rohan Ricketts - his first for the club - clinched a 3-0 second round victory at Highfield Road.

Fredi and Robbie put us in control with clinical strikes inside the opening 22 minutes before Rohan capped it with a cracker five minutes from time.

Caretaker boss David reflected: "We had to earn the right to play and we did it.

"We were true to ourselves. I couldn't ask for more or less, we won convincingly and did what we had to do. We were supposed to be better technically and in the end we were.

"We needed the first goal to settle us, got it and defended very well.

"Players like clean sheets, to be strong at the back and everything else comes from there.

"We were strong at the back and the players in front of the defence worked hard, the midfield and the front players and we're fortunate to have front players who can do things.

"We got a cushion and I thought we went on and were able to play a little."
