Our acting boss felt that Damien Duff was marginally offside when he made the cross from which Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scored the only goal of the game in the first half and, more obviously, he also felt we were denied a clear penalty when John Terry stopped Michael Brown's shot with his arm in the second half.
"I thought Duff might have been half a yard offside," said David. "What is more annoying, however, is that we had a certain penalty - you only had to see the reaction of every one of our players.
"I don't usually look at replays but somebody made me go into the television room to have a look, and you will see for yourselves that it was a penalty.
"It was always going to be a difficult game against a good team and our results lately have been frustrating when we have deserved better."
