Robbie Keane secured the 1-0 success that lifted us up to 13th place in the Premiership less than two weeks after we'd dropped into the bottom three.
"No-one has thought about relegation," said David at Elland Road. "We read about it and it was predicted but strangely enough, the season lasts for 38 games.
"This was a crucial game and important to get the points.
"A lot of away games are very fractured and nervous but I thought once we got in front, we showed some ability. I think we have a lot of ability at the club.
"We got hold of the ball in the second half, got the goal we deserved and went from there. We missed chances but we played with efficiency and were the better team
"We know there is a lot of work to be done, of course, but I'm delighted for the players."
