English Barclays Premiership

A trio of Spurs favourites meet head-to-head in a crucial World Cup qualifying match this week.

Steffen Iversen and Oyvind Leonhardsen are expected to line-up against White Hart Lane team-mate Sergei Rebrov when Norway play host to Ukraine in Group Five on Wednesday (6pm).

The fascinating encounter is the pick for Tottenham interest as our players travel to all corners of Europe again this week.
Stephen Carr’s Republic of Ireland play their first home match in Group Two on a high after picking up draws on their travels against Holland and Portugal on Saturday. Estonia are the visitors to Dublin on Wednesday (7.30pm).

Having comfortably beaten San Marino on Saturday our current number one goalkeeper Neil Sullivan can expect a busier night for Scotland in Croatia in Group Six on Wednesday (7pm).

The week’s international duty starts a day earlier on Tuesday for our younger stars in European Under-21 Championship qualifying action.

Simon Davies and goalkeeper James Attwell are in the Welsh squad travelling to Poland (2.15pm), Gary Doherty is back in Dublin as Ireland face Estonia (7.30pm) while Ciaran Toner lines-up with Northern Ireland in Iceland (6pm).
