Our run-in kicks-off as we return to Premier League action against reigning champions Manchester City at the Lane on Sunday.
After that, we face Wigan, Southampton, Chelsea, Stoke and Sunderland.
The players indicated immediately after our penalty shoot-out loss at FC Basel that they were determined to finish the campaign strongly.
Andre detects that determination. “We were all disappointed (to go out of Europe) but we have moved on, allowed the players some rest and we’ll have five days preparation for City,” said Andre after training on Friday.
“We’ve had a great response from the players.
“City are an extremely good team. They’ve dropped points and that has put them in a difficult position in the league, but they’ve come back with some great performances.
“They’ve made it to the FA Cup Final and this a team that plays good football, is well-organised and difficult to beat.
“We will have to be organised, balanced and the desire, ambition and drive is always there from the players.
"In a big game against a big team there is always that extra drive and that can be key."
