Arriving late into the box from midfield...
The key here is timing. Sometimes players don't go into the box because they think they are too late but how many times would that player then get the ball, maybe the crosser checks back and that will give you an extra couple of seconds, perhaps the cross is towards edge of the area.
The vital thing is to be in contact with the box. Even if I'm wide, I will get in there.
It's important you take a look to make sure you don't go into the same place in the box as your team-mates. It's about reading the game. When you are up front it is tough, the defender is always near you, but running from deep you can often find the space to score. Of course, it's sometimes about luck, but you have to be in there.
So, again, the key things are timing, look at what is in front of you, judge where you are going to run and get in there!
