What would you be if you weren't a footballer?
I honestly haven't got a clue.
How did you become a professional footballer?
I was a schoolboy at Charlton, got a pro conract at 17 and it went from there.
What is your favourite aftershave?
At the moment the D&G zebra one or Jean-Paul Gaultier.
What was your favourite toy as a kid?
I always had a football near me.
Do you have nightmares?
Not really, although I do worry a little before the bigger games.
What is the best stadium you've played in?
St James' Park, Newcastle.
What were you school days like?
Great days. I went to Eastbrook in Dagenham. I had a lot of mates there. I wasn't that clever but my mates got me through it.
Have you got any celebrity mates?
Do footballers earn too much?
I wouldn't say so. It's a short career and they should be able to earn as much as they can.
