The legendary Pat Jennings joins us around the card table for our Q&A feature 'Play Your Cards Right'.
Are you good at any other sports?
I'd have to say golf, I've done okay this year. I was also brought up on Gaelic football back home in Ireland - I was a midfielder before I took up football. It certainly helped with the goalkeeping skills, catching the ball all the time.
What is the best concert you've been to?
Neil Diamond or Billy Joel - I love all sorts of music though. I went to see the Dixie Chicks with my wife the other day, they were brilliant.
When was the last time you cried?
I often get emotional watching various documentary programmes, especially on humanitarian issues.
What site in the world has most impressed you?
Niagra Falls. But there are some fantastic sites in Ireland as well. I've seen a lot of Ireland this year, probably more in the last six months than I had in 57 years. On a good day it's absolutely beautiful.
What is your position on facial hair?
You won't have seen me with a moustache but there are plenty of photographs of me with long locks and big sideburns. It's just a personal thing, I've nothing against moustaches or beards.
If you weren't a footballer, what would you be?
I would have loved to have been a golfer. The better you are, you reap the benefits. The more you play, the better you get.
What aftershave do you use?
Whatever I'm bought!
What player would you pay to watch?
Too many to mention. I've played with and against so many. That's why I never pick all-time teams - I'd miss someone out.
Who would you most like to meet?
A round with Tiger Woods would be great. I got close to him this year at the Open in Sandwich, I was inside the ropes watching him and a few other players - Thomas Bjorn, Vijay Singh and Tiger was two or three bays down from me. They all hit the ball amazingly but I suppose that's how it is, otherwise we'd all be professional golfers.
What was you favourite toy as a kid?
A football. That's all I played with. Wherever I went, I kicked a football.
