You won't get any complaints from Martin Jol over the busy Christmas period!
The Head Coach's thinking is pretty straightforward - if the fans want games, we will play them and do our best to entertain.
The debate over the festive schedule and possible winter breaks seems to run and run and, Martin himself, was accustomed to a break in Holland. From speaking to him it is clear there is no longing for a couple of weeks off.
"Nobody is complaining here because we know it is a terrific life. We have to work hard and we know people like to watch football over Christmas and the New Year - we must try to entertain them.
"Sir Alex Ferguson talked about it when he was in Holland a couple years ago and said teams in England could do with a break - and maybe he's right. On the other hand, we have a sell-out all the time and we are there for our supporters.
"You can look it both ways, I am happy to do the games with my players and try to make everybody satisfied."
