Harry Redknapp believes Peter Crouch will be 'a big player' in the World Cup after his double for England against Egypt.
The striker came off the bench for Jermain Defoe at half-time at Wembley on Wednesday night with Fabio Capello's side trailing 1-0 to the African champions.
'Crouchy' inspired the turn around with two goals with fellow substitute Shaun Wright-Phillips bagging the third.
"It was great to see Crouchy come on and score his goals," said Harry. "He took his goals well and led the line great. Wherever he's played he's done well and his record for England is fantastic.
"He'll be a big player for England in the World Cup. He brings something very different to the team and when he plays, the results have been excellent.
"He will score goals whether he starts or comes off the bench and you'll always get an honest performance from Crouchy.
"He's also a fantastic person as well as a terrific player. I've been fortunate to manage him on quite a few occasions now and he'll never let you down."
