Robbie Keane's double and one from Teddy Sheringham did the trick as we came from 1-0 and 2-1 down to win 3-2 at the Hawthorns.
The victory left us eighth in the Premiership and a chance of making the European shake-up.
"It was a good response," stated Glenn at the Hawthorns. "We showed a lot of technique in how we scored the goals.
"We were a little sloppy with how we conceded the second goal with the wall, so there was disappointment there, but to show the character to come back after what was a very poor performance against City, especially in the first half, we're delighted.
"I felt we were in control of the game for long periods and it was whether or not we were going to put the ball in the back of the net. We did it in the end."
Glenn Hoddle was delighted with the team's response at West Brom after Friday's disappointments against Manchester City.
