Paul Robinson has selected his superb tip over from Portsmouth's Matt Taylor at the Lane in December as his best save of last season.

We put together a list of Robbo’s best saves from last term and asked England’s number one to pick out his top three.

Here’s what he had to say. “If you are looking for a top three I would have to say the best was the save from Matt Taylor.

"It was 1-1 against Portsmouth at the time and we needed to win the game, so that was the most important save in the context of the game.

“I also liked the save from Drogba that’s in Match of the Day’s Save of the Season but that hasn’t made it to my number one because we lost that game. I must admit at the time when I made that save I thought that would be the last thing I did in that game and we’d get a point but it didn’t work out that way.

“It’s a tie for third between the Yakubu header at Middlesbrough and the tip over from Teddy Sheringham at the Lane.â€Â

WE ALSO asked fans to email in for choice of save of the season with the chance to win a programme signed by Robbo if their choice agreed with his.

We had a fantastic response and from the hundreds of fans that also went for the Taylor tip over, Lewis Kemp of Essex was picked out of the hat as the winner! Well done!
