Sitting proudly 18th in our all-time appearance list, Paul lifted the FA Cup alongside Gazza in 1991 in the highlight of 370 games for us between 1985-1993.
Paul lined up alongside some of our all-time greats in his time at the Lane - Gazza, Glenn Hoddle, Chris Waddle, Ossie Ardiles - and he likes what he sees of Mauricio Pochettino's young squad.
"To watch the current side with their enthusiasm, that youth - they have no fear and I think they’ve been exceptional," said the Hall of Famer.
"We have a great crop of English players at the moment and they epitomise the Spurs team.
"Dele Alli had great experience at MK Dons and he’s come to Spurs, fitted in so well and he’s probably been or most consistent player this season. He’s been exceptional."
Now into his 10th year working for the PFA, Paul is also a member of our legends' matchday hospitality team.
"It's always great feeling to be here," he added. "Looking back, there is no substitute for running out onto the pitch and playing for Spurs, there really isn’t.
"I still love coming back now and I kick and head every ball but there is no substitute for matchday."
