Pat Holland is delighted with what he's seen of his Academy group so far this season.
The Under-18s have played three very different games in the FA Premier Academy League - dominating without reward at Sunderland, a good start and finish but draw against Wolves and now a poor start and 2-0 deficit recovered for a 2-2 draw against Norwich City.
"The attitude has been first class," reported coach Pat. "In fact, they want to do well so much we have to be careful that we don't set them targets they can't achieve at the moment as first years. That could see them lose their confidence.
"It's a terrific group, as good as I've had for a long while."
Meanwhile, Pat says he's yet to find a settle side.
"Phil's (Ifil) moved on, Jamie's (O'Hara) moved on to the reserves and at the moment I still don't know my best side. I normally would at this stage.
"At the same time, it gives kids a chance to come in and have a go and that's nice."
