Pat Holland will keep a close eye on his depleted squad after their FA Youth Cup exploits.
Hit by injuries in the build-up, the lads did superbly to topple Liverpool at Anfield but coach Pat admitted they looked tired in a 1-0 loss against Watford in the FA Prmeier Academy League at the weekend.
The next round of the FA Youth Cup against Everton at the Lane arrives on Tuesday February 15.
Pat said: "The lads looked tired against Watford and that's something we'll monitor.
"We've had a lot of first years and schoolboys play this year which is great for the future and their experience, which is the most important thing, but we forget at times that they are young and you have to think about that.
"We'll look at the training schedule, perhaps scale it down a bit so come the Everton game they'll be nice and fresh and be able to put a performance on. That's important now."
