Pat Holland admitted he felt sorry for his Under-18s after Leicester Citys late, late show left them demoralised at the weekend.

The lads looked on course for victory and spot of revenge following a 4-0 home defeat to the Foxes as they led the FA Premier Academy League encounter 3-1 just after the hour mark. Simon Dawkins was in fine form and on target alongside Radwan Hamed (pictured) and Matthew Wells.

However, the home side struck back with 15 minutes left and completed their comeback with two goals in the final five minutes for a final 4-3 scoreline.

"The lads put so much into it and you could see how much they wanted to win," said coach Pat. "We all remembered the 4-0 defeat from last month and were determined to put it right.

"The dressing room was as low as it’s been all season but for me, that’s a good sign.

"I said to them afterwards that it felt like a first team dressing room after losing a game and it really means a lot to them. The fact they had lost meant something and that’s a good sign. There were plusses to take out of it."
