Parks comes home

Posted on 8 January 2009  - 12:00

Another sneak preview of features that can be found in the latest issue of the new-look hotspur magazine...

Parks comes home

Tony Parks is part of Spurs folklore following his penalty shoot-out heroics as we won the UEFA Cup in 1984.

Now he's back at the club he loves - 20 years after leaving the Lane for a career that would take in 12 teams before coaching England's best as part of the Football Association's backroom team.

Tony, now 45, is featured in the current issue of hotspur magazine - and feels that he's come ‘home' as our goalkeeping coach with a key role to play.

"I definitely think I'm a better coach than I ever was a player," Parks tells hotspur. "I'm much more professional now, and I know how to pass that on."

Read the full interview in January's hotspur as Parksy embarks on what he describes as a ‘dream job' at White Hart Lane.

It's on sale at £3.45 from Spurs outlets, on-line and all good newsagents.

And subscribers have the opportunity to get a full year's subscription for the price of 10 issues with no extra charge for postage and packing. What a gift for a Spurs supporter!
