Harry Redknapp says we've signed the complete midfielder in Scott Parker.
The England international and last season's Football Writers Footballer of the Year completed his switch from West Ham on transfer deadline day.
He's trained with his new team-mates for two days having returned from international duty on Thursday and will now make his Spurs debut in our Premier League clash at Wolves on Saturday.
"I've always loved Scott as a player, always felt he was really good from his early days at Charlton," said Harry.
"I think he's only now getting the recognition he deserves. In the last couple of years people have realised just what a good player he is.
"He's right up there with the best midfielders in the country, for sure. He's top, top drawer.
"He's a real competitor and an all-round player. For me, he's not just a defensive midfielder, he can do the lot. He can surge forward, make goals, score goals, he's a box-to-box midfielder.
"I don't see him as just being a holding midfielder, as such. He'll do his job in there, win his tackles, win the ball and is a great passer."
