Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

We've been been paired together with Palace three times before in the FA Cup.

A fourth round tie here on January 31, 1987 yielded a 4-0 victory. Gary Mabbutt gave us a 28th minute lead which was extended by a Gary O'Reilly own goal six minutes later. Clive Allen made it 3-0 from a penalty ten minutes from time and Nico Claesen added the fourth. The crowd figure was 29,603.

Palace won a fourth round replay at Selhurst Park on January 28, 1970 with Gerry Queen netting the only goal on 59 minutes, this after a goal-less game here four days earlier.

The two clubs also met in the old first round - equivalent to today's third round - on January 12, 1924. Palace won 2-0 at Selhurst with Billy Morgan scoring both of their goals.

Palace defender Danny Granville made two appearances for our Under-17's team as a schoolboy during season 1990-91, prior to signing for Cambridge United as a Trainee. He can claim another connection as his father's cousin is our former player Jimmy Pearce who scored 35 goals in 193 senior games for us between 1968 and 1973.
