Tom Huddlestone and Ben Alnwick have been named in the England Under-21 squad for the friendly against Italy next weekend - the first match to be played at the all-new Wembley Stadium.

Midfielder Tom, a regular at Under-21 level in the last couple of seasons, will look to earn his 15th cap next Saturday (March 24, 12.30pm) while keeper Ben is after his first.

The Spurs pair are joined in the squad for the friendly by Wayne Routledge, who is currently on loan at Fulham.

The players will be the first to experience the matchday atmosphere at Wembley in front of a sell-out crowd of 60,000 - all available tickets for the match sold out within six hours when they went on sale on Monday.

The friendly continues the build-up to this summer's European U21 Championship Finals in Holland in June.
