After stating how pleased he's been with his Academy group so far this season coach Pat Holland experienced the other side of the coin at the weekend.
Even Pat admitted he was surprised by his side's disappointing first half performance and subsequent defeat at Millwall.
But he praised the lads for trying to put it right back at the training ground this week.
The Under-18 side lost 2-0 at Millwall after that poor first 45 minutes. "It was a surprise, yes," said Pat.
"There was a lack of passion, commitment, doing the basics, getting a foot in, passing, running - everything really. You couldn't put a finger on one thing, it was every department.
"The only player to come out with any credit was Kieran McKenna, the captain, who has done well this season.
"Having said that, they came in on Monday and worked very hard because they are a good bunch.
"They were very disappointed as well and let's just hope that's the last one of those this season."
