Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur do battle in the final Premiership game before Christmas in the televised match on Monday night.
The Londoners are unbeaten in their last four games and were unfortunate not to beat champions Arsenal in the north London derby last Sunday. Christian Ziege's superb free kick from 35 yards was not enough for the win as Robert Pires converted a penalty on the stroke of half time.
Meanwhile City return to their home ground after some fine performances on their travels. They won convincingly at Sunderland a fortnight ago and then came from two goals behind to snatch a point at the Charlton.
Midfielder Marc-Vivien Foe has been weighing in with the goals with three in the last two and will hope to open his account at home before too long. With Spurs not keeping a clean sheet away from home since August, City should be able to break down the visitor's rearguard, although they will need to improve their shooting accuracy of 39%.
This game may be billed as a battle between two former England managers but both Kevin Keegan and Glenn Hoddle will be happy to be out of the spotlight and hope one of their players has the ability to stamp their mark on the game the way their two respective bosses used to in their playing days.
