Opta Index Player of the month for October
Tottenham ‘keeper Kasey Keller suffered great embarrassment when his mistake led to a goal for Paul Dickov at Leicester earlier this month but overall his performances have been impressive and he comes out as Tottenham’s highest ranked player on the Opta Index for October.
The error at the Walkers Stadium was the only blot on Keller’s copybook as he kept clean sheets in two out of the three league games Tottenham played this month.
Only Fulham’s Edwin van der Sar made more saves than Keller in the Premiership during October while his saves-to-shots ratio was bettered by only two other Premiership ‘keeper.
Keller now has a total of four clean sheets in the league already this season, just one short of the five he managed in the whole of the previous campaign.
