Roy Hodgson had few complaints after our 2-0 win against his Fulham side.

Peter Crouch's opener on 27 minutes paved the way for the victory at the Lane with David Bentley's free-kick deflecting off Bjorn Helge Riise to secure the points on the hour.

Cottagers boss Hodgson said:"I thought we dealt with Spurs reasonably well. After their initial burst I thought we did OK.

"We were a little unlucky with the goals, the second one in particular because that was a cruel deflection.

"After that second goal they could relax - if we hadn't conceded that, maybe we could have pressed them a bit more.

"I'm still proud of the performance. It was a brave performance and hard-working with the injuries we have. Spurs knew they were in a game but we didn't create enough so cannot complain about the result."
