Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Sir Alex Ferguson admitted Saturday was a tough test for United and predicted: "A lot of teams will drop points here."

United ended our unbeaten record and went away with the three points courtesy of Ruud Van Nistelrooy's first half penalty.

In a game of few clear-cut chances, United restricted us to shots at distance although keeper Roy Carroll did well to save from Pedro Mendes, Robbie Keane and Simon Davies.

At the other end, Paul Robinson was in fine form again to keep out Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo and most notable a point-blank stop from David Bellion.

"Tottenham have been rejuvenated this season and their fans were fantastic, they cheered every pass and every challenge and this was a difficult game for us," said Ferguson.

"The fans tried to influence the referee but he did his job well and there were no contentious issues, just some hoo-ha. A lot of teams will come here and drop points but we defended well."
