David Moyes felt his Everton side did enough to win but, like Juande Ramos, was happy enough to share the spoils on Wednesday night.

Chances were few and far between at Goodison Park as Andy Johnson forced the two saves of note on the night from Radek Cerny, one in each half.

However, we defended stoutly and were without doubt the team pushing most for victory in the closing stages.

"I think we did enough to win, especially in the first half but not so much in the second half," reflected Moyes.

"With what we had available and the way Tottenham have been playing, I might have settled for that beforehand but I thought we did a good job on them.

"We never really made clear-cut chances but we did have opportunities to win the game. There were a lot of good things in it for us.

"It's not a bad result though and we've taken four points from Tottenham this season - if you'd have said that to me before the start of the season I would have been more than happy with that."
